Johnsisland 0 #27 June 30, 2006 Taking apart laptops is easy, it's putting them back together without any leftovers that's hard. Seriously, I do have a few ways to help remember where all the screws go. Sometimes you can download a tech/service manual. Then print it out, and tape all the screws to the diagrams. Don't laugh, it works. JArch? I can arch just fine with my back to the ground.
DrewEckhardt 0 #28 June 30, 2006 QuoteSo if you're not even sure how to get it open, what do you plan on doing with it once inside? That's the easy part. With the right equipment it takes about five minutes to replace the power jack that usually breaks. Taking it apart is harder. Getting the stupid short cables plugged back together when you're holding things a finger width apart is most difficult.
