upndownshop 0 #1 June 28, 2006 We have come up with idea that might help DZ.commers recognize each other during events. We would like to put the SkyFest Logo on the front at mid chest, with the DZ.com logo at right chest. There will be a 2x6 white space over the left chest which will be available to write your name on with a permanent marker. Here is our problem, SkyFest is a fund raiser so taking the "risk" of spending the money for 50 to 100 shirts could eat up a bit of scholarship money, without a guaranteed return. Of course there is a price difference between ordering 50 vrs. 100. We would pass the break onto the jumper. The shirt would run no more than $ 7.00 If you are interested PM me and I will see how many we get confirmed and see if we can do this. We feel we need atleast 50 to place the order. Please include a size with your PM. We cannot gaurantee the sizing for everyone we may end up just mixing the order between Med, Large and XL. we will do the best we can. And of course you could wear this shirt to any other event where there might be some DZ.commers Edited to add: Yes Sangiro and I have agreed to the use of both of our logo's We would need the orders in by June 30th so we can have time to get them to Houston. Thanatos340 1 #3 June 28, 2006 I have some Tshirt Transfers.. Basically Print anything and Iron it on. I could print out Name and Avatar in advance for anyone that told me before hand. Then they can just Iron it on at Skyfest. Would look much better than Writing on the shirt. Just leave a Place on the Shirt for 3" Square Iron on. upndownshop 0 #4 June 28, 2006 QuoteWhat about adding a couple bucks and having the username screened on? Tried that. Too much labor. It would take a different "screen" for each name. This was the most cost effective way to do it. Plus time is a factor now. Maybe someday. so are ya in for one?

Give me a call and lets work it out. My question is how long wil the iron on last? The other way is permanent

wmw999 2,589 #11 June 28, 2006 I'll willingly donate the use of an iron & board to this cause; I'll also see if I can get access to a mangle, which I think would make it quicker. Sounds Like we can make this happen. Costs for the Iron on should be less than $2.00 to $3.00. Any overage would goto the skyfest scholarship fund. Design the T-Shirt so that it will look good with or without the Iron on. (Maybe put the Iron on on the sleeve instead of the Chest.. or it could be up to each jumper where they want it.) I will need a complete list of everyone that wants one atleast 1 week before Skyfest so I can get them printed. (Need to print them in sheet of probably about 12 to be cost effective. I will print in advance and they can be picked up and applied at skyfest.)
Thanatos340 1 #16 June 28, 2006 QuoteSo I assume they lasted? I just want to make sure that they last, cant have anyone upset with me. J.. I have done some that lasted forever on T-Shirts that I wore alot.. Others lasted about 10 washes and started to Peel and fade a little. I will look into the higher quality transfers. The key is to keep them Small.. When I have done small ones they lasy MUCH longer than big ones. This is one reason I suggest makeing it an option. People that want them can get them, People that dont can still get a T-Shirt.

But making it an option creates the challenge of which ones have the "write" in space and which ones have a "blank" space. I dont have the time to get that detailed and neither does my printer. Not trying to "shut" this down, just trying to make it quick and easy. lets chat. J
mnealtx 0 #21 June 28, 2006 Just leave the space blank... they can get the decal, write their name there with a Sharpie or leave it blank, and it won't look weird... having an empty frame there would look odd, IMO...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim.
