freefal 0 #26 July 5, 2006 I've seen a base rig with a left-handed BOC pouch. I beleive it was due to the fact that the jumper had a weak right shoulder from a past injury instead of just a left handed preference though. "Ignorance is bliss" and "Patience is a virtue"... crotalus01 0 #27 July 5, 2006 a guy i have jumped with had his BOC switched to the left due to 3 reserve rides resulting from his right shoulder dislocating in freefall.... As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...
livendive 8 #28 July 5, 2006 QuoteI am left handed and when I skydive I (like the most of us) use my right hand when I pull. I do not know if I could do a better job if my pilot chute was on my left side. I usually pull left-handed on tandems despite pulling right-handed on a sport rig and occasionally right handed on tandems. Don't notice much of a difference.
