kenneth21441 0 #1 July 7, 2006 Has anyone taken the Life and Health Insurance state exam? Is it harder then the study questions? What steps should I take in passing the test other then study the material? Any suggestions? The reason for this is I am about to take the 3day course on the 14 to the 16th and test on the 18th. For the Michigan state inurance test. And was looking for anyone that had taken the course, etc.. and any input from you on making it. After I pass this exam I go to Chicago for a 11 day training. Any suggestions would be appricated, thanks, Ken..Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

So while I thought it was decently hard (but they also throw the experimental questions in there), I passed . . . but I have no idea by how much or little. And bear in mind, I'm a good test taker, and I thought it was kinda hard. But again, I might have aced it (doubtful, though).
lawrocket 3 #3 July 7, 2006 Here's my advice: Every exam you take, take it seriously. If people say, "The test is easy," don't take their word for it. I study for every test I need to take. I remember a year and a half ago being at the DMV to renew my license. It had been 15 years, and I guess they needed a re-test. So I studied for about 4 hours the day before. There were a lot of people taking that test. 3 out of 4 were failing it. They had three chances. 5 minutes later I turned it in for a perfect score and was on my way out. Expect the test to be hard. Study for it as if it will be hard. Test-taking is good training for putting your ego aside and doing what you are told to do, how you are told to do it. Do the three day course and take it absolutely seriously. My wife is hotter than your wife.
