PhreeZone 20 #1 July 26, 2007 Anyone hear any details on this yet? I see a little ad for it in Parachutist this month but no details. It looks like you can trade a Cypres in for one of a different model for free now. I.E. trade an Expert for a Speed or a Student for a Tandem.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
billeisele 130 #2 July 26, 2007 so ya mean I can trade my almost expired Cypress for a new one? Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.
diablopilot 2 #3 July 27, 2007 AFAIK you could always do that. It just meant sending it in.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
councilman24 37 #4 July 27, 2007 It's not a "trade". You can send your cypres II to SSK and have it converted to a different 'model' (speed, tandem, swoop, expert) at no charge. From http://www.cypres2.com/cypres2faq.htm "I have a Expert CYPRES 2, can I use it in my new Tandem rig and just do +1150 ft. altitude adjustment? - sorry, no, this is not safe for a number of reasons - however, you can send us your CYPRES 2 (any model) and we will change it to any other model (including the new colored button and thorough checkout) for no charge!" Doesn't apply to an original Cypres.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE

If you're good at it and continue to jump, you'll see a lot of friends die...
