I saw Pirates 2, but seriously what is your favorite color for a car?

It was great, but probably wasn't nearly as good as the Journey, Def Leopord Concert that DZDIVA went to. God i want to see that show!!! I just thought I would share, this is probably going to inspire Simplyputsi to make some smart ass comment so prepare your self for that. No back to the question what is your favorite color for a car?

I like silver, probably just because that's the color of my 4-Runner. I call him "Hi-Ho Silver". I love my car.

Oh, and I thought Pirates 2 was terrible. Big disappointment.

I liked it. But I enjoyed the first one a little too much as well. It was setting up for the third, i can't wait to see how that one goes.

I LOVED the first one. I guess that's why the 2nd was such a disappointment. My expectations were too high. And there was no conclusion to anything! I'll still see the 3rd one, though, probably the 1st weekend it comes out too.

it wasnt' as quoteable cuz he was talking so fast the better part of the time. But i enjoyed it, there were points where i was legitimately nervous for the characters, and that rarely happens. I can dig it, the third one has the potential to be quite good.

My current car is catsup-red. I've also had bluish-green, white, and a really nasty shade of orangish-brown ('75 Nova).

I didn't like Pirates 2 as much as the first. Silver, although Dark Grey is starting to grow on me. One of the new students @ SDA drives a black Porshe Boxter. It looks nice but he admits it is very hard to keep clean.

I really want a bright ass red one or a black one. I always thought I would he cool to have several Black cars. Its hard as hell to keep mine clean, and since I am on the highway and around town all the time the front of the hood is starting to look like the surface of the moon. They are def hard to keep clean but I think they look the best when they are. (black cars.)

Sport Compact Car Magazine did a head-to-head comparison between the new GTI & the SI. All of the drivers except 1 liked the SI better & all of the times were better with the SI (even the driver that liked the GTI had a better time in the SI).

Really depends on if you're doing a track car vs a daily driver.

I dunno about you, but I think the average person spends a hell of a lot of time behind the wheel -not- racing and for the purposes of a daily driver, the GTI wins hands down.

And lemme tell ya, the GTI is a freekin' blast with the DSG transmission. I had NEVER owned a car before that wasn't a manual, this thing blows me away.

As for the COLOR of a car . . . yes, black LOOKS cooler, but if you drive out to Perris with any frequency . . . WHITE actually IS cooler . . . by quite a bit.

The only real teat of who's car is faster is on a road course, that way we see who is the fastest driver, not which car is the fastest in a quarter.

I take it that you have never driven in Atlanta. My last car was a hatchback. I prefer the coupe. While yes the DSG would be nice in bumper-to-bumper, the cars tested were both 6-speed. I would like to see them compare the DSG to the 6-speed. Since the Honda only comes in 6-speed, it would have to be VW vs VW. A 3-way competition would have been nice.

Silver isn't bad in the GA heat.
