apollard24 0 #2 July 14, 2006 I love airshows too. They are fun to watch. I once took my son to see one at Maxwell AFB and I looked over and saw this pilot walking at me and noticed it was my cousin that just dropped the skydivers out. My son thought that was really cool.Breathe out so I can breathe you in...
airtwardo 7 #3 July 14, 2006 I love air shows. *** Me~2!I attend at LEAST a dozen a year as a performer, and 5-6 more as an 'observer'...can't get enough of the 'smoke & noise'! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
bigway 4 #4 July 14, 2006 When are you going to open up a demo training school? I reackon from people around the world that there would be a healthy market there. You could even start a certificate that they attended your school like Olavs' atmospheric dolphin thingee. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
kelel01 1 #5 July 14, 2006 Oh, yeah! I think I made a very similar post a couple of months ago when the Blue Angels were practicing over my office. That shit was HOT.
monkycndo 0 #6 July 14, 2006 My dad was a private pilot and as a kid, we went to every airshow in the area. We later moved and lived directly under the approach to George AFB. Between the Thunderbirds, daily ops of the F4 WildWeasels and the many valious extra planes stationed there during Operation "Gallant Eagle", it felt like every day was an air show.50 donations so far. MF42 0 #8 July 14, 2006 In the spirit of one-upmanship: Had a flying lesson, just practicing takeoffs and landings over and over again, the day before the Air and Water Show in Chicago a few years ago. We're on downwind when the tower tells us to be aware of fast moving traffic from 3 o'clock. Squinting through the haze, I catch a glimpse of something grey in the distance and suddenly four F-16s go screaming past, about 200-300 feet above our plane. The only time I ever heard another plane over the Cessna's engine noise. It was cool. Matt

The "Flatlanders aka F.I.B's" do have a better show... We got to jump at most of the beaches and parks near beaches through out the show weekend... But the "Cheeseheads" throw a MUCH better party! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
