NWFlyer 2 #1 July 14, 2006 Funny, but kinda sad...(SFW)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

MF42 0 #3 July 14, 2006 Heartless 911 dispatcher, sabotaging what could have been true love. Emergency, shmergency. If any of those other calls are important, they'll call back, right? Matt
Rebecca 0 #4 July 14, 2006 Man. That is sad. Either that or the cop was so good-looking she lost all sense and reason... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
MF42 0 #5 July 14, 2006 I'm thinking that the odds are pretty good that alcohol was involved at some point in the decision making process here. Matt
SeaKev 0 #6 July 14, 2006 You'd be surprised at the level of stupidity that 911 call receivers deal w/ every day.

Deuce 1 #13 July 14, 2006 Oh, god, that's nothing compared to the nonsense County General Hospitals get in the emergency rooms. "What's the nature of your emergency" "My period is coming and I gots cramps. Gimme some midol" "My ear wax is really bugging me. I'm going deaf"

I wonder how many of these nuisances were at the Casa Grande hospital the night grue had his episode at dinner at the Holiday Boogie. grue scared us then...but I guess the emergency room had a 4+ hour wait. Guest #16 July 15, 2006 It is sad. Someone so clueless as to misuse 911 when a simple lookup in a phone book would have sufficed is someone I wouldn't want to have anything to do with if I were that deputy. Run, do not walk. She could even have asked for a non-emergency phone number. That would have been bending it, but she might not have been charged. I'm guessing this woman missed the Brain Train when it stopped in her town. Now she's going to have to post bail, go to court and all that. If she's lucky, the judge will just consider her a dumbass and let her go with minimums."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." Bolas 5 #17 July 15, 2006 Nah, if a male judge is lenient on her, she'll think it's a sign of attraction and probably do more things so she can "see him again" Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
