kelel01 1 #1 July 17, 2006 So, this past weekend I was at The Farm, and there was an unusual group of people doing tandems. And by unusual, I mean one of the women had a tattoo on her forehead, and the group was comparable. So, we're sitting there, and one of the guys from the group was saying something to another, and the guy's response was "Stop scaring the normals" - meaning US. The skydivers. I have never, EVER heard a whuffo refer to a group of skydivers as "the normals". I think these people were extremely self-aware. Anyway, just had to share. And the mention of forehead tattooes in another thread reminded me of the story.

kelel01 1 #9 July 17, 2006 I understand, and I don't think we're special, but . . . Even as nutty as I am, when I went out to do my first few tandems, I thought everyone who jumped on their own was FUCKING NUTS. And I said it over and over again.
