FlyingJ 0 #1 July 21, 2006 Ok - who has gotten into seed ticks before and WTF did you do to get rid of them all! In the past I've just used a piece of 2" clear packing tape, kind of like a lint brush, to to get most of them off but I've never run into a batch like the one that got me this afternoon and tape just ain't gonna' do the trick! For those that have no idea what I'm talking about, seed ticks are just baby ticks, but they hang out in very large groups (hundreds to thousands) so when you happen to brush past the tree they are hanging onto you don't just get one tick, you get the whole shabang (is that really a word?). The worst part is they are near impossible to see, most are significantly smaller than the head of a pin. I think I met up with at least a half dozen hungry little groups today and I'm about to go insane!
