It was 111 here yesterday. Broke the record for the day. But all was well... until the power went out. Luckily we knew where to find a motorhome with a generator.

It's supposed to hit 110 today, but the humidity has cranked up. If it wasn't so brown outside I'd swear I was in Florida.

Three more sleeps... I am SO looking forward to the cool nights in Montana!

I was ready to complain about mid 90's for 4-5 days straight, but after reading all these posts, I guess it's not as bad as some places. The difference is most of us in the PNW don't have A/C, because, generally, we don't need it. Ha! It sucks when the interior of your house temp is the same or worse than what it is outside!!! I am melting!!!! They keep saying it will cool down, and the next day it's just as hot!!!

Yes, I had to explain to a certain Atlanta-based dropzone.commer today that "I don't have A/C" doesn't mean that my A/C is broken, nor does it mean that I'm not turning it on for whatever reason. It means that there is no A/C installed in my house.

It was a foreign concept.
