2fat2fly 0 #1 July 25, 2006 I got a call from Oshkosh Sunday that some important items didn't arrive for the show. I gathered everything together and left South Carolina at 4:10 pm-Arrived in Oshkosh at 6 am, set thing up and was back on the road a little before noon, stopped 4 hours in Chicago and slept. Got up and back at it-just got home (9:30 am) Now I need to pack so that I can leave in the morning to go back to Oshkosh (with a little side trip to Illinois) I'm vewy tiredI am not the man. Keep an eye on your segments - you can usually qualify for status based on miles or segments; the one year I qualified for 1K on United, I did it on segments. I was hopping all over the west coast, with the occasional trip to the east coast with connections. Those segments can add up quickly. I realized towards the end of the year that I would be really close and I took one Saturday afternoon, spent $150 and flew to Portland and back just to get those last two segements.
