Slappie 9 #1 July 26, 2006 I swear it seems a bit off kilter lately. Just with all that's going on in the world. What about the weather? Jeez it's 100+ in Seattle and it's 80 and raining (for days) in Houston. Things are just not "right" "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." Things are just not "right" I know, I talked to my Mother in law who lives in England and she said it has been 100 degrees for about 2 weeks now. Now that is rare for England!----------------- I love and Miss you so much Honey! Orfun #3 ~ Darla
AggieDave 6 #5 July 26, 2006 Well, its about time that we had a crappy NW summer and they get to experience what TX is typically like in July. Maybe this will spur all the local song writers to give up singer/songwriter styles and TX country styles and they'll start playing more grunge, wearing Doc Martens and flannel...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Jaden 0 #8 July 26, 2006 The weather has been freaky. I believe the heat wave is due to the Greenhouse Effect, caused by the airborne pollution that is eroding the ozone layer. We destroy the earth with pollution & each other with lack of compassion. It's been building up for while & it will probably continue for long time. With widespread lack of effort, it doesn't seem like the situation will improve in the near future, unless, people were willing to make a change. We can always attempt to motivate others to try a little harder. The earth is amazing, this is our home. Of course, as always, this is just another random meaningless opinion. Nothing is ever certain. It is always hot & rainy in the summer. You guys are getting slammed. I hope your weather improves.

I mean, if a butterfly flapping its wings can make the wind change direction on the other side of the world, who can imagine the effects of all those falling bodies?
