Raven Dash Reserve (m150)

Recommended Posts

Hey,
i just recently purchased a mirage g3 with a raven dash reserve in it. it has just had a repack and is in great condition. only one previous ride.

for those of you who jump a raven reserve, or have jumped on in the past, what do you have to say about them. I have already looked at gear reviews, but i was wondering if anyone here can elaborate. also, what was you loading and size of raven...

thanks

The key is to remember that this is NOT your main. The stall point may/will be very different and you should, if altitude permits, do a practice flare, before landing. The impression I've gotten of people that have had problems or issues with them is stalling them on landing. If you've never stalled a canopy, and I think maybe lots of newer jumpers haven't, then you might choose to borrow one that is appropriate to stall and try it out. This would give you the experience of the feeling leading up to it and the effects of stalling a canopy. (NOT GOOD near the ground.)

But I have lots of experience on non zp, 7 cells, and raven mains and have raven's in two of my three rigs.

Ditto.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I never had any trouble with mine, but I do not recommend any higher than a 1.3lbs sq ft. loading on a Dash M reserve. They were not really designed land properly at such loadings.

You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
