Nope have a friend with IMDBpro and he says it's a lie, there is no other info. Except they can give you a yes it's a real movie. No production info.. nothing.

Actually there was a pretty decent release of the book to movie. In believe it or not, 1984.

Actually there was a pretty decent release of the book to movie. In believe it or not, 1984.

Yeah, the 1984 version of 1984 starring John Hurt is pretty good. 1984 is one of my two or three favorite books, so I can't wait to see what direction the filmmakers take.
