rasmack 0 #1 August 1, 2006 I am in Chicago for the week (work, not skydiving ). I do have some guide books to help me locate places of interest but none of them are willing to tell me where not to go. Apparently it is bad for business. However it is likely to be late, when I have time to go out, so if any locals could tell me where to stay away from I would greatly appreciate it. It is easier to ask you guys than to learn the hard way. HF #682, Team Dirty Sanchez #227 “I simply hate, detest, loathe, despise, and abhor redundancy.” - Not quite Oscar Wilde... Do go to the Museum of Science and Industry and go on the U505. Also there's a cool Leonardo daVinci exhibit on there.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. rasmack 0 #5 August 1, 2006 Actually my question was more about personal safety. I am told that most American big cities have areas that are dangerous and that one should stay away from. I am a Danish country boy so this line of thought is rather alien to me. Thanks for the tips anyway. A Leonardo da Vinci exhibition would be very interesting. Just don't walk alone at night, don't stare at people, try to avoid moving your fingers at all, and have fun _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard
