I think that the WSOP is pretty neat... although sometimes the comentators can be annoying... but that's relatively typical of sports announcers... I wish I had the skill to do it myself... Thanatos340 1 #6 August 3, 2006 The Buy-in is (And always Has Been) $10,000. But VERY few people actually Pay the $10K out of thier pockets. Most "Win" seats in Satellite Tournaments. (example 100 people play in $100 Buy-in Tournament.. 1st Place gets Seat at World Series.) Pokerstars gave away 1000 Seats for this years WSOP in various Satellites. If I ever get good enough, that's the only way I can get in there. The little one's eating a hole in my wallet! Gforce 0 #9 August 3, 2006 I had two friends in this year's tournament. They both got VERY unlucky and got bounced the first day They won seats with pokerstars.com. One of the guys went last year as well. We've all been playing for years, and these are NOT the best players. We like to razz them about it, of course.
