matt1215 0 #3 August 5, 2006 I'm not a big fan of bleu, American, or Swiss. Other than those, anything in any combination's quite tasty. (Unless you go to the US in which case its made of plastic) Swiss cheese in the US is the same just with holes in. Edited - I have stilton on burgers..
 Michele 1 #7 August 5, 2006 Lots of different types of burgers: the pepper burger, which has mild (or hot) green chilies mixed into the meat, spiced with some jalepeno juice, and layered with pepper jack or monterey jack is delightful if you're in the mood. A Bleu burger has bleu cheese crumbles and bacon mixed into it, and is glorious if you're in the mood for that. A regular burger - plain, good ol' american style - with american cheese is perfect for those moments when a basic burger is what you want... Colby, Cheddar, Stiltson, Swiss - all have their place in a burger world...just depends on what sort of flavor you're looking for.
 kbordson 8 #13 August 7, 2006 Funny story with my 12 year old nephew about cheeseburgers. The last two weeks, I had kidnapped the young sir that is my nephew and for this part of the tale we were in NYC. He ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup only... then was quite dissappointed when it came out with cheese on it cuz he ordered it with "ketchup only." So I didn't know really what to do here, I tried not to laugh and asked the waitress if she could take it back to heat up the cheese and scrape it off. Keith and I then discussed about ordering and how if they bring you what you ask for, you shouldn't really send it back.... So it was just kindof a cute story that I wanted to share.....
