popsjumper 2 #1 August 6, 2006 I had the honor of working with Billy doing FJC for one of his deaf buddies today. I'm here to tell you that Billy kicks ass! The student passed his AFF1 with flying colors and will continue tomorrow (we got weathered out late in the day). Billy "facillitated" the FJC and flew one of the two cameras we had on the jump. Thank you, Billy. AND congrats to the student (who is also named Billy, believve it or not.) My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. BillyVance 35 #5 August 7, 2006 Thanks Andy! It was great working with you and the AFF I's and JM's on Billy's AFF jumps. He cleared each level he attempted with flying colors (levels 1 to 3). I'm already looking forward to the next time we get together! This guy is every AFF I/JM's dream student. Cool-headed, relaxed, and happy. He may be totally deaf, but he's very perceptive and absorbs everything. He landed off the DZ on his first jump, but avoided nearly every obstacle to perform a perfect PLF in somebody's fenced in backyard with 4 dogs going apeshit! Now THAT's survival skills. The best thing is, he managed to stand up his last landing (AFF3) on target.
