StreetScooby 5 #51 July 8, 2006 Quote even though I felt old compared to the kiddies in the mosh pit. STAY AWAY FROM THE MOSH PIT! When I saw them at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC a couple of years ago, my wife wanted to get close to the stage. So, without knowing better, we did. SD walks on stage, picks up their guitars, hits the first stroke, and a mosh pit broke out right next to me. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. Wish they were heading out east, but doesn't look like it. Oh, well.We are all engines of karma
NWFlyer 2 #52 July 8, 2006 QuoteSTAY AWAY FROM THE MOSH PIT! Oh, we did! It was a good setup - general admission on the main floor (of an awesome old theater) and they'd ripped out the first 8 or 10 rows of seats so people could stand. Security was pretty unforgiving of the little mosh-kiddies; they were keeping things fairly calm, but we still hung towards the back of it. And I know I'm getting older, but I really do think things are getting louder; I took my earplugs out a couple times and it was almost painful.
