happythoughts 0 #1 August 9, 2006 ...on a Cadillac. A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back." Prophetic. Now, Led Zep is easy listening and is used to sell Caddys. But, I digress... Tonight, on WEDU (our public tv station), they are broadcasting a recorded Pink Floyd live show. They just finished up playing Money. Have they no shame? Years ago, the snooty pseudo-intellectuals with French poodles named Socrates were decrying the death of classical music. Now, they are pandering to anyone who gives helps them grab some cash. "Tonight, on your public tv station, Professional Wrestling Smackdown - Naked Diva Night..." I always loved PF and thought the music was incredibly complex, but what do I know. I ain't got no learnin', but at least I'm consistent.

The scary part? 15 years from now, there will be a PBS special featuring "Classic Hip-Hop". A techno special would be easy. "Do you want a 30 minute special or a 60 minute one?" "30 minutes" "Frank, repeat that track 30 times."
