SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 August 9, 2006 I understand that testosterone is only a useful steriod to enhance training, not to give a one day lift in performance. If this is this case, Floyd must have been taking it for some period of time before the race. If so, why didn't the earlier tests he did show the elevated levels? karenmeal 0 #8 August 10, 2006 Testosterone would be beneficial for an increase in agression short-term. I'm thinking this is why one would use it. I doubt that he was framed. zagijimzoo 0 #9 August 10, 2006 Of course he was! If he was into doping he would know the exact amount needed to just be under the 4:1 ratio so he wouldn't get caught! but 11:1! He was seriously framed! The French Lab doing the testing is not to announce the charge of doping until the B sample is tested! As soon as his "A result" was due it leaked out ASAP! A Laboratory with standards like that raises a lot of questions about the credibility of the people working there! This leak happened so could the tampering of samples! If you want a quick fix you down a lot of caffeine! That will make you aggressive!
Frenchy68 0 #10 August 10, 2006 QuoteThe French Lab doing the testing is not to announce the charge of doping until the B sample is tested! As soon as his "A result" was due it leaked out ASAP No it didn't. Landis and his team were informed of the result of the test on the "A" sample. Landis withdrew from all upcoming competition he was scheduled to attend. At the same time, it was leaked that someone had tested positive. It took a 1/4 of a second for people to understand that Landis pulling out of all races was not a coincidence. Then it was made public. QuoteIf he was into doping he would know the exact amount needed to just be under the 4:1 ratio so he wouldn't get caught In that same token, are you implying that Ian Ulrich, Ivan Basso, and all the other favorites of the tour who did not compete because they tested positive, were framed as well? Actually Jan Ulrich, Ivan Basso and the others never tested possitive. They were linked by documentation only to a firm in Spain that had access to banned substances. Four of the banned riders have been cleared by a Spanish court.-- I used to pray to God for a bicycle. Then I realized God doesn't work that way. So I stole one and prayed for forgiveness.
