SkyDekker 1,465 #52 August 16, 2006 I hope you are very sure that none of the senior staff at your current company know anybody on the senior staff of the new company you are going to? Word of problem employees is easily spread, specially when anger management is needed. You kick up too much of a storm and before you know it you won't be making your probationary period in your new job....

"NO PROBLEM SIR!" with a big shit-eating grin on your face... I know I know, that probably won't work, I don't know what else to say. If you've asked your new employer not to contact the shitbag and the shitbag doesn't know where you're going, I don't see the harm of getting a lick in after you've collected your hard-earned benefits. After a while, go back one night and toilet-paper the shitbag's house... htrammel 0 #54 August 16, 2006 I got to agree on this one. Our industry is huge, but it always amazes me how often I run into people I knew or someone I knew knows of them. The A&P biz is a tiny world and you don't want a reputation following you. Good luck and stay cool. Yes sir, no sir, then...c-ya later. ht
Rookie120 0 #55 August 16, 2006 I would just love to see that guy who I had the argument in a bar one night. I know the group he hangs out with so tracking him down one night would be soo sweet. If guys were allowed to duke things out at work things would be soo much more peaceful. After the ass whoopin was handed out of course. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! billeisele 130 #60 August 17, 2006 the only way you can win this battle is to shut up and grin any reaction they get from you hurts you and they win again, seems like they "know" the system and are willing to work it against you either they are just plain mean or they are jealous about something, i suspect the latter, they can't beat you fair n square so they will use the system against you take the new job, leave with a smile and you win - it will kill them when they can't get to you the world is full of little people that get their joy by trying to bring others down into their cesspool existenceGive one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.
