Yeah, they're usually on four legs. Or two, as the case may be.

Here's another one that flies jumpers. Unusually, it has a Garrett powerplant rather than the more common PT6.

Sorry 'bout that. The modern style vertical stabilizer threw me. All the beavers I've seen in person had the original, shorter round top vertical stab. Do they mod all turbine beavers like that?

My first freefall and a lot of my novice jumps were out of an old Beaver. Rattled like a Model-T, slow to altitude, no door, no seatbelts, used to lose oil pressure a lot, even crashed at the DZ on takeoff once, but dayum we had fun with it.

I love my little Cessna dropzone, although we have all promised Bob an Otter if any of us hit the big time lottery!

Doing 5+ jumps are cool with 182's. I did my beer 8 way last weekend and it was very cool meeting up with the second group in mid-air.

And FYI...I drive 2 hours to my home dz, passing an Otter dz that's only an hour from home. Completely worth the drive!!
