adventurechick 0 #1 August 20, 2006 I really thought I hated this place when I graduated from high school... but after visiting it again this weekend, I have a new love for my home town. So Kudos to good home cooked meals, southern hospitality, beautiful scenery, and slow talkers. So where is your home town, and why do you like it? :o) PMS #449 TPM #80 Muff Brother #3860 SCR #14705 Dirty Sanchez #
airgord 1 #2 August 20, 2006 Battleground WA. Trees more than 5' tall and none have thorns. Grass, green grass, native green grass. Water, it's everywhere up there, and when it rains it isn't mud, like here. Real coffee shops, not that Starbucks crap, real coffee without the corporate BS behind it. People with decent social skills, and they know how to use the turn signal on their cars (usually). Thai food restaurants, real Thai not southwest style that is almost Mexican food with curry. Up there the Snowbirds are gone for 9 months, instead of here for 9 months. There's so much, I could go on and on, but I put up with AZ so I can jump anytime, all year 'round. htrammel 0 #3 August 20, 2006 Gallatin, TN. I haven't lived there since 1981 but I still go home to see the mother unit occasionally. Don't think I'd ever want to move back.
irisheyes 0 #4 August 20, 2006 Dublin, Ireland. All the benifits of a big city. A history that is amazing (was incorporated in 988). A river running through it (granted not all that clean all the time). Mountians, beach and countryside all with in a short drive.
matthewcline 0 #5 August 20, 2006 My home town is Foster City CA. My soon to be new home town Eastern Clarksville TN. I like theslower pace and hate the concrete jungle life after 18+ years living in it. When I left it 20+ years ago Irelized I had more fun outdoors than any other place. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
