In Tampa, there are street-corner musicians. The reasons are donations, getting noticed for jobs, and fun.

If one has something cool going on, people stop and dance.

What if the music was great, people were dancing, and the musician says, "Sorry, not you. No dancing or even listening."

I think thong bikinis are like that.
Some honey walks by and 40 guys watch, some strike up a conversation. If she's not interested, she acts like she is offended. To her friend, "Did you hear that unattractive person? He said I had a cute butt. What a perv."

That is why color-coded t-shirts, bracelets, or hats will never work. The t-shirt may say "I'm single and lonely" in 8 inch letters, but not everybody gets to dance.

People need to play their own music and see who walks by, who liistens and who wants to dance.

Yep. If you seek attention, as much as you would like to, you don't get to choose the quality of that attention. Fun flirting from friends and others that you like, or creepy (perceived or real) attention from people you don't like.

But then again, I wouldn't know. I'm usually just off in my own world happily dancing to the music in my head.

Me too. I hate to admit it, but I heard the Kenny G version of "I like the way you move" and love it.
I'm going to take Salsa lessons, so I've been trying to pick out music that I could use around the house for practice.
