chris_uk 0 #1 August 22, 2006 Hey, I've been to jump 2 weekends in a row - one was "winded" out, the other was "rained/low clouded" out. Just ranting about the CRAP UK Weather. I am still quite new and would feel cheeky if I were to ask them to teach me Nooooooooo! I was hoping for good weather this weekend . I've paid for 5 jumps and want to get licensed. Where is the wind tunnel? Tony - Do you go to "The Parachute Centre" DZ? There are 2 tunnels in the U.K, one at Bedford and the other at Milton Keynes. Regards, (.)Y(.) At least when your licenced the wind won't be as much of an issue as you can jump pretty much whatever your comfortable with (to a point) and you might be able to do a few hop n pops from cloudbase or put yourself down for a 'go-for-it' load. Oh although learning to pack is good thing to learn, maybe a few more jumps would be better first.
