Gawain 0 #1 August 22, 2006 Yep! Finally! I'm taking some time off from the hospital environment (where things continue to go well, but I need a break). I'll be staying in Irvine, and will have a couple days to head out to Perris and Elsinore. The plan (subject to change) is to do a tandem and get some tunnel time in on Friday (see how solo freefall feels with a prosthetic leg). Depending how things go, I hope to do a jump to get current again too. I'll also be checking out how the "Pieces of Eight" jump goes, but don't expect I'll be a participating directly. Super exciting! I'm still putting the details together with some folks who are helping me out, but I will definitely be there at the very least. The rest of the time, my wife and I will be in the LA area and visiting with some other friends and trying to pack a lot of things into a few more days of time in SoCal. So, there it is, maybe I'll see you there! edit: whoops...I'll be with you guys Sept 8 and 9!
