Of the people here on DZ.com that I know I’ve noticed an inverse relationship between the number of posts made to the number of skydives logged. I’ve often wondered if this was true of the larger DZ.com population.

such verbose poll options... I'm sort of confused by the choices given... I picked something but I'm not sure it was right...

I have 7,859 posts (including this one) and I've been a user for 1,398 days, so I average 5.6216 posts per day.

I went for my first skydive 1,549 days ago. I have done 18 jumps, none in the last 1,185 days. I thus averaged .01162 jumps since my first jump, and only 0.0494505 jumps for the intervening 364 days.

So I'm a high post-low jump dude. Presently, I average 436.611111 posts per jump, an average that is likely to grow in the coming months.

I have an average of one or more posts a day and weather permitting jump about every weekend

Jump about 5 or 6 times a week... sometimes more...sometimes less.


Yup.... and post about 8.6 times a day on average...

If the weather is crappy I may go to my sailboat and go sailing or fishing... depends on my mood and what is swimming past at any given time.

i peruse the forums about twice a week. and currently jump twice a month- these student jumps are costly. should have my A end of dec. so i'll be at my DZ more and on DZ.com less.

As things stand it looks more equal than I would have predicted. I’ll be curious to see if it changes as more people add to the poll.

I used the "pin-the-tail" method...much easier

this post would only be meaningful if there were any correlation with the ease of posting and the ease of making a skydive..

given that night jumps arent regular, and that packing, loading and jumping take significantly more time than any post. The opportunities to Post are significantly higher than the opportunities to jump.
