LisaM 0 #1 August 27, 2006 Do you rest from work on Sunday? I never get to... as a matter of fact, I have quite a bit of work to do today! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
FallinWoman 1 #2 August 27, 2006 I tend to not do any work on the weekends at all. I am in my tenth year of teaching and have learned how to get it all done at school so I do not have to bring anything home. I do this so I can have more time for myself and time for my family, not out of religious reasons. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

LisaM 0 #4 August 27, 2006 Good for you! I have a regular day job which I don't even think about after 3:30 on Friday... but then the side-job work kicks in. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

slug 1 #10 August 27, 2006 QuoteThat too! I'm about to go grocery shopping though I think I will blow off Costco til Friday.... Danger Danger Friday is the first of the month When folks gets their monthly checks, plus the holiday cookout shopping thing. We're poor old retired folks so our rule of thumb is costco never at the beginning of the month, never on weekends or just before holidays, best time 10-2 or a hr before closing. And we never run errands on weekends to damn crowded with all those folks who have to work during the week. R.I.P.
LisaM 0 #11 August 27, 2006 Valid point, but I have no choice but to go on weekends. I ended up going today. At its worst it is STILL better than Walmart (which I have boycotted). ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

happythoughts 0 #13 August 28, 2006 Not today. We've had a project plan line item for 10 hours assigned to another person for the last 2 weeks. Friday she convinces the project lead that I should do it. It is due on Tuesday. I've already got work assigned to me for that day. (I'm on 3 projects) So, I worked both Saturday and Sunday. (Fortunately, I get paid hourly) Besides, the work sucked in a most severe fashion.
