DickMcMahon 0 #1 August 28, 2006 After landing, a gust of wind caught my parachute and pulled me over. Now have a rotator cuff tear. Surgery tomorrow. Anyone had that done? How long did it take you to recover and jump again? _________________________ Website: Please Click Here Is it still considered a naked skydive if you’re wearing a helmet? He shows off with one arm push-ups now! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
 DickMcMahon 0 #3 August 28, 2006 WOW! That's great to hear! Including the repair of 2 torn muscles, it took a bit less than a year - depends on kind of damage. My right arm was popping out by itself when pulling over a pullover - I did not feel any pain at all. As all was torn before. Incident happened at my 5th level of AFF as I stalled canopy too high, fell down and rolled over in front of me. Instead of doing a fine PFL, I tried to stop myself with my right arm - there it was when s*** happened! I came back after one year, did AFF and since then, spent a lot of money Take your time, dude. It's for your own safety reasons. I still have only about 75 percent of strength in my right arm/shoulder, did many rehabs etc. Today, I can deal with it. dudeist skydiver # 3105
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
