freeflir29 0 #26 August 30, 2006 That lake pic is nothing short of SPECTACULAR. You're making me jealous. Many of those pics could have been taken around my house in Montana. Which I haven't seen since April. I'm starting to get withdrawals. Plus...........you got to hang out with Alana!

No, it's not!May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. flyangel2 2 #32 August 30, 2006 We have seperate tents because I take all three of my dogs. Just not enough room in my tent for three dogs and two adults. Lisa is a selfish bitch and took her one man tent, no way is there room in that tent for even her, let alone me! April, the theme to DIA is the Rocky Mountains. (Doesn't mean I'm a big fan of DIA) QuoteThe airport's distinctive white tension fabric roof is designed to be reminiscent of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains in winter. It is also known for a pedestrian bridge connecting the terminal to Concourse A that offers a unique view of planes taxiing directly underneath. The airport is a major hub for United Airlines and Frontier Airlines, as well as a minor hub for Ted, a subsidiary of United. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_International_Airport QuoteViewed from the outside, the Jeppesen Terminal building at Denver International Airport (airport code: DEN) is reminiscent of a circus tent or a field of whipped marshmallows, but the architects insist that the structure was inspired by the snowcapped peaks of the Rocky Mountains. http://www.expedia.com/daily/airports/denver.asp?CCheck=1& <---I guess some people see it your way.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. gravitational 0 #34 August 30, 2006 QuoteOh, but the weather did cooperate, if you have the right equipment. I had to special order that weather so Lisa could try out all her cool gear. Please note the attached picture. Lisa got the nice warm, dry cave, while I had to set up my tent in the open Ummmm...you're in trouble chicky. I was home all last week and left you a couple voicemails. Never even got a call back. Where's the love? ------ Michael
flyangel2 2 #35 August 30, 2006 I got one voicemail from you the day before we were leaving. I'm a very poor college student now, and have cut way back on my mins. So, if you want to talk to me, you have to call after 9:00 p.m. my time, and not after 9:15 p.m. bed time. That goes for you too ClintMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. bluskidave 0 #38 August 30, 2006 Mary, which wilderness area did you hike in? I was in Durango last week for legal business and the weather was a nice respite from our Texas heat.I'd love to have cold fingers and feet right now. flyangel2 2 #39 August 31, 2006 Rawah Wilderness up the Poudre Canyon. We were on West Branch Trail. The TH is just off CR 103. You can catch CR 103 just before Chamber Lake off of HWY 14. I'm in love with that area, and think I have hooked Lisa. If you get a chance, get a map of the area and you'll see all kinds of trails that have plenty of water access. Plus I get to take the dogsEdit to add: There is a picture of the area in the first thread Lisa postedMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
