flr169 0 #1 August 30, 2006 What are the fuel prices per gallon in the US for a cessna.... Up in canuck land it is 1.63 per litre....... this skydiving outfit comes into town twice a year and does a shit load of first time jumpers... Last night I went out to do a few jumps and he wanted to charge me $40cdn to go to 11,500..and $300cdn for a tandem A month ago a different out fit was hear doing a fund raiser with the arthritis foundation.... they charged $28 cdn to 9,000 and $190 cdn for a tandem It not so many words I told him to fuck himself and he is just hosing everyone.... another guy there with out gear but able to go all the way up, they charged him $100cdn.... So I would like to know how much a gallon of fuel for a cessna in the states is....he tried telling me that it is double.... thanks for the info Let me know your thoughts on this also.... thanks MikeLife's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - "fcuk me what a ride!" pilotdave 0 #2 August 30, 2006 Varies from place to place. You can look it up at http://www.airnav.com/fuel/ Near me, it's $4.59 per gallon. That's $5.09 canadian per gallon or $1.34 canadian per liter. That's some spensive fuel ya got up there. But believable... Dave
flr169 0 #3 September 1, 2006 thanks Dave for the link..... As I thought the prices are only different by at most .50 to .60 cents a litre...which doesnt justify the $40 jump ticket to 11,500..... PhreeZone 20 #5 September 1, 2006 You have to pay for the ferry fee to get the plane to the airport, his time to file for any needed permits, etc. Capitalism in action.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
