inzite 0 #2 September 1, 2006 The worst is that I actually managed to get through, calling internationally, a total of 8 times. Each time the lady on the other end told me I'd have to call back in a few minutes...all the associates were busy. Me: "Well, can't you put me on hold?" Her: "Nope, our hold system is already full. Call back in a few minutes."
BillyVance 35 #3 September 1, 2006 Well, there's always a rent-a-tent or share a room or something. Or sleep in the car. base428 1 #4 September 1, 2006 Did you try the Quality Inn? They held 50 rooms for jumpers this year, although they might be gone by now. You can always camp at the Holiday Inn for $20 a night with hot showers. It's a pretty good deal and more people are taking advantage of it lately. Also, check the Bridge Day Lodging page for more hotels: http://www.bridgeday.info/lodging.php(c)2010 Vertical Visions. TKATC 0 #6 September 1, 2006 I did manage to get a room at the Quality Inn....my only concern is being near the "action" of the Holiday Inn, you know.....intoxication factor, meetings, etc etc.
brianfry713 0 #7 September 1, 2006 I just reserved a room at America's Best Value Inn, formerly the Ramada Inn. They said they still have plenty of rooms available. $55+tax Thursday and Sunday nights, $75+tax Friday and Saturday. It's not too far of a drive if you're already going to have a car, only need a room to sleep in at night, and have someone sober to drive.
