jumpjunkie2004 0 #1 September 7, 2006 I listed several items on eBay and I keep checking to see if anyone is bidding. For the last two days, I've been checking every 30 minutes or so. Now, there are only two hours left in the auction and I'm checking even more frequently. Is this normal eBay seller behavior or am I just an obsessive compulsive freak?Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat... bloody_trauma 2 #2 September 7, 2006 it depends on what it is your selling. sometimes buyers don't bid and will bid at the last minute to get the best deal, if you dont get what you want for it you can always relist it but if someone bids on it and ou dont get what you thought you would its still a legal contractFly it like you stole it
Icon134 0 #3 September 7, 2006 Naw I haven't sold anything on ebay... but I can see myself doing exactly what you're doing... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
Zeppo 0 #4 September 7, 2006 I've sold a few things on E-bay...but i've listed a whole bunch more. Sometimes items just wont sell. There could be a number of reasons for this. But you shouldn't worry, just keep an eye out for what you're selling online, and see how popular/unpopular it is. Good Luck. What goes up, must come DOWN!!! jumpjunkie2004 0 #5 September 7, 2006 Seven items listed....seven reserves met : ) I guess I'll be going to the post office this afternoon to send them out. I set the reserve prices very low because I just want the items out of my house. Now, I want to find more stuff to sell : )Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat... sharimcm 0 #7 September 7, 2006 Quote Is this normal eBay seller behavior or am I just an obsessive compulsive freak? If it's not normal, then I am in the same boat with you as being obsessive compulsive about it. I sold a rig or two on ebay as well as just some other "stuff." I started using FedEx Ground for all my heavier sold items. It seems cheaper through them... Good luck!! kris2extreme 0 #9 September 7, 2006 i've bought/sold lots of stuff on ebay... I usually check my auctions pretty often to make sure everything is still going good on them and make sure they haven't already ended. (I've had two auctions in the past that somebody bid on and won... and I didn't find out until a couple of days later because i didn't receive an email from Ebay about it) I recently sold a laptop on ebay... I was EXTREMELY compulsive about that one since the proceeds from it went to pay for my FJC.
simplyputsi 0 #10 September 7, 2006 Yup, sold a few things this past week, made a few bucks I didn't have. It depends on what I'm selling if I'm obsessive. This time around it was just some clothes that I really didn't care if they sold or not. So I just checked once a day to make sure no one had asked any questions. You have to love that ebay now shows you how many people are watching your auction. Gives you some peace of mind.Skymama's #2 stalker -

boinky 0 #13 September 7, 2006 I haven't sold anything there for years. I did, however, buy a used copy of "Gypsy Moths" recently, though. My sister lives in Florida. She has made selling things on E-Bay a job for herself. Hell, I heard she sold flower seeds and made a tidy profit. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? steveorino 7 #15 September 7, 2006 If I see something I want -- I do not bid until 20 seconds are left. I put in my max bid and if i get it -- so be it -- if not, at least I wasn't swooped by another Ebayer (like I just did ) steveOrino
