Twoply 0 #1 September 8, 2006 I've been borrowing cable for a while and today when I got home it was gone. I checked this and that and even eventually ran a brand new cable line out to the, what I think is called a terminal, that comes out of the ground in my backyard. I plugged the new line into that and then into my tv and nothing. Can they shut off those terminals individually or can it be something to do with a new cable company taking over the area? Help! If my woman can't watch TV she'll want to talk all freaking night!!!
NWFlyer 2 #2 September 8, 2006 You've been getting free cable for who knows how long and now you're pissed that the cable company finally seems to be on to you? micro 0 #3 September 8, 2006 I'm crying for ya buddy. Just consider yourself lucky if you don't get a BILL for the months you stole. You're better off w/o TV anyway. Most of it is shite. Unless I'm on the road for business, I never watch it at all. I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...
Twoply 0 #4 September 8, 2006 Right, and if you moved into a new house and the cable was on, you'd call the company and have them shut it off. Yeah ok. I want to know how things work. If it's gone so be it.
Lindercles 0 #5 September 8, 2006 Yes, they can shut off the cable to any connection they want.

If it's gone so be it. Oh you just want to know how things work? I thought you wanted to avoid hearing your woman talk your ear off all night? Believe what you want about me, bud. If you read my post carefully enough you'd know that I don't watch TV in my home...at all. Even if I did watch TV, I wouldn't steal cable. Stealing is stealing. I don't watch much TV, but I can't live without my highspeed.Fly it like you stole it!
Lindercles 0 #8 September 8, 2006 Ditto. I get my cable internet from the same company I get my cable tv from. If I moved in and cable tv was already hooked up, I would still contact them to get my internet, at which point they would start charging me for tv, too. Which is fine with me. Doesn't want to listen to his woman talk about things, either. You get no sympathy from me. Just wondering, if you'd care to explain, how you can "borrow" cable. How did you intend on returning it? You got caught stealing. As a professor I have said during the opening lecture, "you get caught? Suck it up, cupcake." Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
