Mike Ashley just did his 5000th skydive last weekend and he asked me to video it for him... (I imagine if he knew I would share it with all of you he might have thought better of it)

it wasn't anything massive just a 5-way with Mystic Rythyms the 4-way team he is videographer for...

I know he has an account here although he doesn't post much... and as I understand it he started jumping around the time scotty carbone did... what was that like a hundred years ago?

yeah... just wait till its always there... then you'll be begging to have an otter again...

you've probably jumped out of this particular CASA as it's the same one that was at dublin this year (the one with all the animals on the outside...)

I actually don't think I jumped out of that one, I always ended up on the other one. I know which one you speak of though. I was gonna say it looked familiar on the inside, but they all look pretty much like that, the ones i've seen at least.

oh yeah i forgot to comment about that. It actually had me laughing out loud in the office. At first I thought the one guy totally blew his point and was unaware he was climbing over someone. Then I saw what he was doing.

The climber is Jared, Mike's son... he was trying to fruitloop Mike to screw with him at the end of the dive...

it really was an awesome dive... but considering that three of them have about 200 or so jumps together and the other two have about 10,000 skydives between the two of them... its not suprising that they are able to fly together.

I Still remember going up on a load in the early 70s at Coldwater Ontario with Mike and Perry Grim.

They were basically teaching each other RW. Dirt diving seemed to consist of a discussion on the way to altitude along the lines of "I went first last time so this you go first this time, and I'll try to catch you."
Those were fun times.
