If you creamated someone (avg adult) how much carbon would be created from the person.

would it vary from somone who is of the same height but 150lbs vs 500 lbs? I dont think fat is very good at being turning into carbon and you would for the most part get the same amount out of the person.

what you think?

Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

ohhh ohhhh
I dunno the answer but I want to be cremated and then made into a diamond in a lab. Yes yes that is what I want done with me. What ever else they don't use can be thrown to the wind at some place i've yet to determine.

I don't think it's much though and I'd assume it is based on a persons non fat mass.

I'm pretty sure fat is mostly long carbon-hydrogen chains, so yeah... a fat person carries a lot more carbon than a skinny person.

yes but fat would 'melt' and evaporate/ break down at those high temps. i think the carbon that is left over is more from the bones

If there are good filters then all the smoke generated will yield carbon too. and the fat will leave quite a bit of carbon. The bones will leave a lot to but they have a high Ca (Calcium) content too.
