efs4ever 3 #1 September 9, 2006 I've got a couple of Garmin GPSmap76 models. This is an outline of my tracks for the last two weeks from Houston, including trip to Couch Freaks. I love the extra instrumentation provided like elevation, rate of ascent / descent, time to destination, distance to destination, moving average. Looking at a pointer that shows how far off track you are I returned home more Westerly than the route to CF.Russell M. Icon134 0 #4 September 9, 2006 Yeah... I really like my garmin eTrex Vista C... I would like to have the Vista Cx since it accepts microSD cards and the memory is expandable beyond the 24 MB mine has... maybe I'll upgrade in a couple of years.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... freeflir29 0 #10 September 9, 2006 QuoteI've got a couple of Garmin GPSmap76 models. That's what we use in Iraq. The GPS was issued but of course people have had to buy their own Lead Dog software. Seems to work fairly well and is pretty easy to use.
 cros13 0 #11 September 9, 2006 I use a dell axim X50v with iGO software.
