gofast_ER 0 #1 September 11, 2006 Well it was a great weekend despite the weather. Got 4 free jumps and got to see kathleen (skydivermom) and some other cool people. Walt Appel also helped me out with my first CReW jump. Well it didn't go as good as a would have liked but I did grab the leading edge of his parachute for a second or two Now the sadness. I sold my rig I figure hell, i'll have a new one when I get back. So it will just sit for a year than not get used anyway. So I sold it. Was my first rig. And second, had to say bye to everyone I'll be back to raise hell at nome next year though. ugh....it was fun. Ok, im done venting. On the bright side walt didn't try to make me look at his turd pic when he busted out his camera ew. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it. cocheese 0 #3 September 11, 2006 You should be happy that your old rig is going to a good owner (i hope) and that they will let it fly and be free instead of sitting on the ground for a year. Thanks for serving.

freeflir29 0 #5 September 11, 2006 I wasn't sad when I sold my first rig. Of course I had my new one for a couple months by then. It went to a wonderful home at a Canadian DZ. The DZO actually bought the thing for one of his students. I was glad to pass on a great deal to an up and coming skydiver.
