Gawain 0 #36 September 10, 2006 Super thanks to Bill. He has been a mega-source of support for me since my injury. We manage to debate in SC and keep it civil, yet when I saw him Friday morning, my first action was to give him a biiiiiiig hug. I am indebted to him, and he has my eternal gratitude. In addition to my currency jump, I did one of the warm up jumps with "Pieces of Eight", that 5 way didn't go quite as well, but it was great to be back in the air. Yesterday, I went to see my old friends at Elsinore. Mel Curtis, John Hamilton (DZO), and Steve Simar organized a 4 way with me for Pat Newman to shoot some video and get lots of pictures with each point. The pics turned out great, the jump went smoothly. I then did a second jump with Mel and a couple other guys. It too went very well. It's so good to be back. It'll be tough to go back to Walter Reed, I miss California so much and I miss Perris and Elsinore very much. Here are some pics from the first jump.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
