Almost, but not quite

There's a new game coming out that seems to incorporate skydiving and BASE jumping, but from the videos I've seen, they still aren't getting the details exactly right...from my ladmittedly imited perspective. The videos show what appears to be extremely low pulls as well as straps (instead of a slider) that seem to be all that holds the risers together. With all of the easily obtained information at hand in our community, why is it so difficult to stick close to the mark when imitating our sport in the entertainment world? Is it that there is no monetary gain to be had from properly representing our sport? Or is it just sheer laziness?
