I was disappointed in House. The finale. I was proud of Scrubs for being probably the only medical show that didn't have a character get shot in the season finale. Think about it - House, ER (I think), Grey's Anatomy - they all had a doctor get capped.

What I like about House is the anti-hero: a drug-addicted, arrogant diagnostic genius. I'd like to see his residents start to get more stuff right from the start. I'll continue to watch the show unless I figure it just becomes too formulaic.

I don't watch the other shows...and I didn't mind at all that House took a bullet. That episode was quite funny--House being layed up next to the guy who shot him and the banter that ensued.

His residents have been getting more right lately. Keep in mind they're res-i-dents and House is the diagnostic genius. Just accept that. But this last episode Cameron had some great ideas that House utilized.

I'm a little sad though---I kinda saw it coming, and am not sure what I want to happen---but the whole end of the episode where House took his cane out of the closet.

Oh yea...did anyone else see House (Hugh Laurie) on Ellen yesterday???

It was hilarious. And, like Ellen, I still can't get over his English accent. I've heard other actors before go back and forth and it's not at all shocking, but for some reason on Hugh Laurie it is utterly crazy to hear him talk in his natural accent.

I said it before and I'll say it again......... I freaking love this show!! If any of my Oncologists had his bedside manner, I probably wouldn't mind going to the Dr. as much! Can't wait till next week!

Actually, they're not residents. They're board-certified attendings. The premise is that they're supposed to be young wunderkind experts in their fields. Cameron is an immunologist, Chase is an intensivist, and Foreman is a neurologist.

And, umm, yeah, I love the show too.

I didn't think residents sounded right, either, considering a good friend of mine just graduated med school and is now serving his "residency".

You know, sometimes blondes put two and two together.

But, I do think they're something to House that separates them from simply being an immunologist, intensivist and neurologist.

I've never bothered to look up what.

WHAT!!!! Never heard of Rescue Me! Girlfriend, we gotta talk. You may very well have to turn in your chick card for that!

Nip/Tuck is the equivalent to chick porn - tues, 10pm on FX. Rescue Me just ended its season, but you can catch the re-runs on FX.

Both are worth the time spent drooling.......

I admit, I only got DVR when the last Survivor finale was going to be on a night I wasn't going to be home (and we've long since disconnected our VCRs). We called that morning and signed up for the service so I wouldn't miss it! Most shows, even the ones I like, I'm not too upset if I miss them. I like & watch TV, but I'm not that kinda addict.

It's been the "high life" ever since.

I'm always the last to jump on the new technology bandwagon--mostly b/c I'm pretty stingy when it comes to spending money on anything non-investment (with the exception of fun time.). I think it's silly to buy a new TV just 'cause they make one when mine works fine...

But anywho...

TIVO, I can definitely vouche for!
