Anybody remember what they were doing and where they were when the news broke that Reagan was shot?

Are you serious?

I wonder if you have ever seen livestock killed with one shot from a .22cal?

I saw a steer shot with a 30-30 win and it looked kind of annoyed(headshot) then a 22 was used and it went down like a ton of bricks.

.22cal was the choice or Pro's, and the choice of the Moussad.

In fact the Mossad used .22cal with some of the powder removed(subsonic) for contact shots.

Though .22LR can be the hallmark of a pro, there is a significant difference between a suppressed Woodsman and an RG14. When I heard that he had used an RG, I was surprised that the damned thing kept going BANG without jamming.

Had Reagan's press secretary succumbed, the press secretary's wife would not likely have vented her sexual frustration in the "gun control" arena from that point onward. Oh well.

I suspect a few DZ.commers were dancing with joy

Which ones???

I didn't state which ones but I think there were a few, Reagan was so hated back then, and now the two faced people of this country would like us to believe they all liked him and respected him.

I say bullshit, people were screaming he was senile and was going to end all life as we know it.

Celebrities went way out of their way to tell us all how the President was a stupid actor and was so senile that he would just wake up after a nightmare and push the "button" as if there were a single button:S

Anyone remember all the music videos and rhetoric? I do:|

"As Reagan appeared outside the hotel, Hinckley fired six shots from a .22-caliber pistol, with Devastator bullets, hitting Reagan press secretary James Brady, police officer Thomas Delahanty and Secret Service Agent Tim McCarthy. Reagan was hit by a shot that ricocheted off his limousine.
The Devastator bullets were designed to explode on impact, but only the one that hit Brady in the head erupted." -Arizona Daily Star

"Though flanked by administration members, police officers, and Secret Service agents, Reagan was shot under the left arm. The bullet malfunctioned and failed to explode on impact, seriously wounding but not killing Reagan." -PBS

"It should also be noted that individuals can easily obtain instructions for the creation of their own bullets. The most infamous use of such bullets was the attempted assassination of President Reagan in 1981 by John Hinckley, who used “Devastator” bullets (Bingham Limited, USA) composed of a lacquer-sealed aluminium tip with a lead azide centre designed to explode on impact. Though frequently referred to in works of fiction, they are rarely encountered in forensic practice, as sales have been restricted following the incident in 1981." -Journal of Clinical Pathology (06/05/03)

Would it surprise you that I voted for him... and thought he was a good president at the time.... LATER.. when he was dealing with terrorists and allowing the boys in the basement to run roughshod all over our laws.. THEN I had a problem with his management style... that of TOTAL plausible deniability.

Part of the crap we are dealing with today is because of his policies stemming back to the 80's and the Muja's.. and Afghanistan and their secret little war that lead Osama into believeing it was THEM who had actually won the Cold War.

Liberal hate on the second response

He's British. He's not supposed to automatically like the American president, any more than we're supposed to revere the Prime Minister of Great Britain.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

I find nothing you say untrue and actually never thought of you in that list.

Yes mistakes were made that cost us dearly now.

Mistakes are always made, it is what is done to correct them is what counts, or at least the ablilty to not repeat the mistakes, no matter what the polls say.

I for one wish that we never helped the Muj's in the first place and that more was done in the middle east about terrorism, and Islamist extremeism.

Liberal hate on the second response. That's faster than I expected.[:/]

Libertarian hate actually, but it works out to the same thing.

Anyway, I'm glad he didn't die then. The way he eventually did was way more appropriate.

Karma's a bitch.

what year was it... because reagan is the first president I remember taking office (I remember carter leaving office... and being real disapointed... though I'm not sure why)

I also remember the challenger mishap... though I again don't exactly recall the year... (some time when I was in elementary school... :$)
Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
