karenmeal 0 #1 September 14, 2006 Surgery went well.. I think. My leg is all big and bandaged up so I think that is a good sign. I got to watch the arthroscopic part of my surgery on the DVD that they gave me. It was neat! They took a fricking lawn mower to the cartilage on the back of my knee cap. But I didn't get to see my VMO reefing on video. Oh well. Now I get to sit on my ass for 2 days and direct my boyfriend on the proper care and feeding of a Karen. Muy bueno. Jaye I tried to call you yesterday with a special message. I was going to say, "fuck off" (in a special friend sort of waySurgery is pretty fun over all I guess. Not quite as fun as skydiving.. but you know. ANyways...... I wanted to say hello to my DZ peeps. Percosett is fun, no? NWFlyer 2 #5 September 14, 2006 It was fun to talk to you yesterday when you were all loopy. I'm out of town this weekend but I'll see if I can get up to see ya next week. By then you'll just be bored with the whole thing."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. See now? Didn't I say so?! Todd was giving me grief a year or two back about bragging on having a medicine chest full of everything. I kept ALL of it after every surgery. It does come in handy for later...like falling down stairs, sprained wrist, whiplash, y'know, that kinda shit. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. karenmeal 0 #7 September 14, 2006 I am going to keep some leftover percosett for our first aid kit when we go backpacking. It would have been nice to have had something when I hurt my knee. I had to hike 4 miles on it! I knew that everyone was right that surgery would not be bad. But the thought of someone reefing on my knee (which was the name of one of the procedures) just freaked me out. The next time I have surgery I don't think that I will be so scared. Which is good.. because my other knee could use surgery and both of my feet! lawrocket 3 #8 September 14, 2006 Goodness! It's been only two weeks since you hurt it and wondered whether it was worth a trip to the doctor. I'm glad it's went well, and here's to hoping that it continues to go well. My wife is hotter than your wife.
