BillyVance 35 #1 September 18, 2006 After hearing about the Arizona football team stomping on LSU's eye logo at LSU stadium before the start of that game the previous weekend, and the Miami Hurricanes stomping on Louisville's logo before their game this past weekend... I had to laugh my ass off... LSU 45 Arizona 3 Louisville 31 Miami 7 Ain't these idiots ever going to learn??? BWAAAAAA!!!! BillyVance 35 #3 September 18, 2006 Quotelearn what? that it is a stupid game? That you don't fucking stomp on the home team's logo before the game, or you'll get your ass kicked BAD... It's the ultimate show of disrespect. I'm surprised Arizona did it. But I expected Miami would, based on their bad boys reputation. It was soooo good to see them humiliated. popsjumper 2 #5 September 18, 2006 Screw Alabama even though you did pull for the Gators this weekend. I'll root for 'Bama when you play Tenn. We had an adamant Vol's fan arguing that play gets stopped as a dead-ball foul on an offensive holding penalty...sad, but quite true.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239

When Miami met Alabama in the Sugar Bowl for the 1992 National Championship, Alabama was a marked underdog, nobody gave them a rats chance in hell of beating the Canes who had not lost in 28 games. Well, The Canes entered the stadium first, then turned their backs on the Crimson Tide as they made their entrance. Another version of disrespect I guess. Final result? A 34 - 13 Crimson Tide-dominated victory, and Miami's bad boy Lamar Thomas sitting on the sideline with a towel covering his head in shame. No matter what, respect the opposition. Respect the cunning and skills of the enemy. Failure to do so results in a failure to adequately prepare. Walter Payton never showed anyone up, except through his amazing performances on the field. Jerry Rice never did end zone celebrations. His touchdowns were enough. If I was the coach, I would bench any player who did that. Sure, they made a statement before the game. The opposition made their own statements when it counted. Perhaps if the players had put studied the game or scouted warmups instead of planning on stmping a logo, they would have had better chances. My wife is hotter than your wife.
