I love my copy editor

The copy editor my publisher hired for my book just sent me back all her edits - the ONLY thing in the ENTIRE book she took out was ONE reference - She toned it down a bit as to not offend.

She made tons and tons of grammar and style changes, but didn't change the content or the references/phrases. Go her!

She left all the rest of my offensive shit in!! :) So happy.

Book comes out on Dec. 6. There will be a party. The bar will be free. Stay tuned.

It's called Can We Do That?! Outrageous PR Stunts and Why Your Company Needs Them.

Wiley Publishing contacted me last year to write this, after seeing my Blog.

Writing a book was one of those things I thought would be fun, and never thought about again, until they contacted me and were like, "here's a contract." I jumped up and down until I realized, "shit - I actually have to write a book now! How does one do that?"

So I put myself on a plane to Tokyo, and wrote chapters 1-7 on the flight out, and 8-15 on the flight home. :)
