jumpjunkie2004 0 #28 September 19, 2006 I'm the opposite. I pretend I'm okay when I'm in severe pain and want to cry. I refuse to cry when I get broken or injured or when my arthritis hurts so bad I can barely walk. I get up and dust myself off and keep on moving. I think I've spent so many years without support that now I'm used to not having it and when people try to help I don't know how to act.Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat... freeflir29 0 #29 September 19, 2006 Yes............but only in the military. I had an injury. Could I have continued training. Yes. However, I had seen too many people before me "tough it out" and end up letting the problem get SO bad that they were now permanently fucked. 2 that got medicaled out of the military because of it. I wasn't letting that shit happen to me. I whined.........got a profile for 2 weeks, took care of the problem, and then moved on with life.
jtval 0 #30 September 19, 2006 I agree with that. I don'tgo to the doc when I'm in pain unless something is broken. I dont wanna to get booted because I have pain. when it comes to REAL pain I tough it out as long as I can.My photos My Videos
