lauras 0 #2 September 18, 2006 One of the coolest projects I've ever run was planning the interior of my then-boss' personal G4. I was flown to Long Beach, met with some specialists, picked everything finishes & layout-wise, including the exterior pinstriping. Now, that was some fun! billvon 3,119 #3 September 18, 2006 We got a Global Express (basically a CRJ with a nice interior) a few years back, and used it for a while for various demos. A very nice airplane. The main reason we got it was so our CEO at the time could stand up in it.

SkydiveJack 1 #5 September 19, 2006 I got a new job last year flying a Corporate GIV. What a nice ride! As a pilots plane it is awesome. I've done a couple of flights from our home base in Toledo, OH, non-stop to Europe. No sweat on fuel. We can get up, stretch our legs, grab a snack, hit the head. It's very pilot friendly. Oh yeah, it sure looks bitchin' too!!!!
Derekbox 0 #6 September 19, 2006 I have been in some Globals, and they are freaking sweet. I think right now my favorite has to be the ERJ Legacy, the cockpit/avionics are so nicely laid out.... but really, give me a 182 with a jump door and a few thousand feet and Im happy. Wait, I do have to mention, a 727 conversion, the plane was a beater, but the rerag was just pimp, red plush velvet, animal skin seats, every couch/divan/foot rest was orgy ready... thats the way to go. They had IPODs through out the cabin piped into the stereo syetem... draw your own conclusions...

freeflir29 0 #8 September 19, 2006 The G 5 is really the pinnacle of the business jet until they make one supersonic. It just doesn't get any better than that. One of these days............maybe I'll have an extra $45M laying around.

Rookie120 0 #15 September 19, 2006 QuoteI told her I'd buy her one to 'practice' in so she'll be ready! They call those people test pilots. They are saying it should start test flights in about 6 months. Then she could fly them like this! www.metacafe.com/watch/39256/crosswinds/ This might scare the hell out of the passengers. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! Rookie120 0 #17 September 20, 2006 I met that pilot when I was up at GE in Ohio. He was up there going over stuff for the 787. I think he has more time PIC than I do alive.
