StreetScooby 5 #1 September 20, 2006 Here's a simple personality test known as Meyers-Briggs. http://www.advisorteam.com/temperament_sorter/register.asp?partid=1 Fill out the form, then take the test. The actual test paid for by corporations is much more extensive (and expensive). What type are you? I'm an INTJ. http://www.typelogic.com/We are all engines of karma
ACMESkydiver 0 #2 September 20, 2006 I am the only person on the planet to be a complete balance of all personality types. No kidding. It's kind of a bummer.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

NWFlyer 2 #10 September 20, 2006 You mean Myers-Briggs? I'm an ENTP. I've taken the full test and that's how it always comes out. I'm a recovering ENTJ, though..."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. monkycndo 0 #11 September 20, 2006 I have never been fully evaluated, but have been told by people who use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator that I am an ESTP. I've read up a bit about it and think it sounds about right.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

The expensive test I took also measured your "stress" type. I was ISTJ. I'm gravitating more and more towards that as I age/mature. If I'm dealing with people with project deadlines coming into play, I gravitate more towards ISTJ but with full blown latent INTJ tendancies barely concealed in the background. About 1 in 4 people in life don't like me. I've never been able to figure out why... NWFlyer 2 #20 September 20, 2006 QuoteQuote I am aware of the indicators and of the 4 characters. Some how, you never struck me as a shy person But people who test as "I" aren't necessarily shy. I used to work with a guy who was an I and you'd never guess it at the office. But I traveled with him once and you could see it at the end of the day when we got to the hotel - he needed so badly to be alonge and be able to turn "off." I test strong "E" but I do have that tendency from time-to-time. Most of the time people energize me (typical E) but occasionally they drain me (typical I)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
monkycndo 0 #21 September 20, 2006 QuoteI am full on INTJ. I had two ex girlfriends that were INTJ. I should have learned after the first one. INTJs are the project managers of the world. Only about 2-4% of people are this type. I'm the spontaneous type that loves to talk/argue and never quite finishes anything because something else is so much more interesting. They needed their "quiet time" and loved everything planned out to the last minute. They made lists to keep track of their lists. I'm surprised we lasted as long as we did.50 donations so far. StreetScooby 5 #22 September 20, 2006 Quote I test strong "E" but I do have that tendency from time-to-time. Most of the time people energize me (typical E) but occasionally they drain me (typical I). When I socialize and let my hair down, it's with people I've known a long time. I will socialize with others, but it has to be early in the night. Doesn't take much of that to flat out wear me out. I'm ready to go home. My wife, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. It energizes her, and she'll be the last one to leave. We are all engines of karma
StreetScooby 5 #23 September 20, 2006 Quote INTJs are the project managers of the world. I think that's ISTJs, actually. But, INTJs can move that way easily (myself included). Quote They needed their "quiet time" Yes. I need my time for me, and only me. I'm lucky my wife understands that. Sometimes that time is jumping, or going to the pub, or sitting in my office listening to Social Distortion. Quote ...loved everything planned out to the last minute. I'm not to the last minute, but I like to have an outline there. Quote They made lists to keep track of their lists. I got over that. These "categories" are very effective for determining communcation styles, thereby promoting effective communication. So wanna tell me something that I don't already know at some level?I do not feel the need to place myself into a mold. As I mature, I change and I grow. I have taken the test upon more than one occassion. It was useful at the time. I am happy with all the facets of my personalty. I do not need another test to tell me who I am. It really is as simple as that.
